Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a complex IT application built on the Microsoft Power Platform, focused on SKU creation and management within a large manufacturing environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements related to SKU creation and management processes
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand operational workflows and identify process improvement opportunities
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for development teams
• Support end‑to‑end testing activities, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking
• Utilize Jira and qTest to manage user stories, test cases, and defects
• Assist with configuration, updates, and ongoing enhancements to Power Platform applications
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing status updates, documentation, and clarification as needed
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance throughout the SKU lifecycle
Required Qualifications
• 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT or application development environment
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Hands‑on experience with testing cycles and defect management
• Proficiency with Jira and qTest
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, complex project environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
• Background in manufacturing, SKU management, or product lifecycle processes
