Role description
Business Analyst I (Detroit, MI) Optomi, in partnership with a leading digital banking company, is seeing a Business Analyst I for a hybrid position in Detroit! We’re looking for a dynamic professional to play a pivotal role in a strategic program designed to modernize a key IT system and lay the foundation for business transformation. In this role, you’ll drive value at every stage of the development lifecycle- from project inception and requirements gathering to design, construction, testing, deployment, and ongoing production support. Experience of the right candidate: β€’ Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science related degree. β€’ Management Information Systems preferred. β€’ +4 years of customer support within the software product industry. β€’ JIRA experience. β€’ Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic, fast paced, and collaborative environment requires a high level of productivity, innovation, and communication (verbal, spoken, and written). β€’ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. β€’ Advanced knowledge of automotive or vehicle remarketing preferred. Responsibilities: β€’ Providing superior customer experience ensuring all escalations are handled professionally, timely, and accurately. β€’ Act as subject matter experts of the multi-tenant auction platform in support of operational initiatives, integrations, issue/defect resolution, and escalation support. β€’ With partnership with the Sales and Product Management facilitate customer integrations while providing Leadership consistent views into the integration activities and roadmap. β€’ Serves as primary business liaison to our DevOps Support Team driving priority, urgency, and quick resolution of production issues & defects; while ensuring clear communication to customers and Leadership with regular status updates. β€’ Oversight of the auction business rules, incentives, and specific platform configurations. β€’ Partnership with Product Management team in support of the platforms release program, including, but not limited to, coordination of business testing, socialization of known issues in the release notes, and support night/weekend production release validation. β€’ Proactively identify/execute process improvement initiatives to resolve redundancy and streamline work for teams within LOB. β€’ Provide recommendations on efficiencies that can be gained based on the current set of circumstances. β€’ Create and maintain cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership success.
