BC Forward is looking for a Business Analytics Analyst in New York, NY • Job Title: Business Analytics Analyst • Location: New York, NY • Employment Type: Contract + (High Chance for Full Time and Extension) • Schedule: Monday–Friday • Pay Rate: $85.00–$90.00/hour Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Analytics Analyst to join a high-impact data analytics team at Client. This hybrid role in NYC focuses on analyzing and improving data quality, delivering strategic insights, and driving risk reduction across critical price risk systems. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze complex data sets to uncover trends and data quality issues • Build and support data analytics platforms for price risk and control metrics • Use Python, SQL, and Tableau to extract insights and create visualizations • Collaborate with control leads, business stakeholders, and technology teams • Draft data/feature specifications and coordinate UAT activities • Communicate actionable insights to senior management • Identify and resolve risks or issues during data-driven initiatives Required Skills: • 5+ years in a data analysis or business analytics role • Proficient in Python, SQL, and Tableau • Experience using Jupyter Notebooks for data analysis • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to write detailed documentation and specifications • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in Financial Services or Investment Banking • Familiarity with Price Risk, Product Control, or Market Risk • Background in Control Analytics or Data Governance • Experience with data science libraries (e.g., Scikit-Learn) • Bachelor’s Degree in related field; Master’s preferred
