24 Month Fixed Term Contract
What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to gather, analyse, and document data reporting requirements, transitioning manual reports to automated, scalable solutions.
• Map data flows to ensure data lineage and integrity, working closely with architects and development teams.
• Apply business analysis techniques such as process mapping and gap analysis to identify data-driven opportunities that enhance operational efficiency and strategic outcomes.
• Partner with technical teams—including data engineering, architecture, and IT—to deliver high-quality reports, dashboards, and data products.
• Communicate complex data insights clearly and compellingly to both technical and non-technical audiences, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Contribute to the design of sustainable, scalable data architectures aligned with business and technical standards.
• Champion data quality, governance, and compliance principles throughout all projects.
What You Bring
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in data-related projects, including process design, solution design, and data transformation.
• Proven skills in business analysis, data mapping/modelling, and documenting comprehensive data requirements.

• Proficiency with SQL and familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools and data visualisation platforms (QlikSense knowledge is a plus).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex data concepts into understandable, actionable business insights.
• Experience working within Agile project frameworks.
• A natural curiosity for data and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
• Water industry data knowledge (Billing, Customer, Asset, Hydraulics, GIS) is advantageous but not essential.
Why Join Us?
• Be part of a high-impact, forward-thinking programme shaping the future of data within the organisation.
• Work in a collaborative, supportive environment that values innovation and autonomy.
