JustinBradley's client, a leading source of mortgage financing, is seeking a Business / Data Analyst to join our team. The analyst will work closely with business users, other analysts (business, data, systems), and developers, reporting directly to the Data Management Manager. The primary focus of this role is to troubleshoot data variances and failures by analyzing source-to-target mappings (STTM), identify root causes, and propose and implement solutions to resolve these issues effectively.
Responsibilities:
β’ Analyze complex requirements by reviewing STTMs and apply findings to troubleshoot failures in a production environment.
β’ Propose solutions and write data correction scripts; collaborate with technical teams to implement fixes.
β’ Verify and certify data post-correction implementation.
β’ Clearly articulate technology solutions and requirements, aligning business rules and processes to meet objectives.
β’ Quickly analyze data and make performance-driven decisions.
β’ Understand and document Data Lineage and source-to-target mappings accurately.
β’ Conduct meetings and presentations to communicate findings and solutions.
β’ Document and communicate business and data requirements effectively.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage priorities across stakeholders.
β’ Work independently with minimal supervision.
β’ Required to have 4β6 years of overall experience in a related role.
Requirements:
β’ 8+ years of experience in Business/Data Analysis.
β’ Bachelor's degree required.
β’ Advanced SQL skills (preferably on Oracle databases).
β’ Strong Excel skills.
β’ Experience using Toad for data comparison.
β’ Knowledge of Data Warehouse and Data Mart concepts.
β’ Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
β’ Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
β’ Strong understanding of Agile methodology.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
β’ Ability to work with multiple stakeholders on high-visibility projects.
β’ Experience in the mortgage industry (Multifamily or Single-Family) is a plus.
