The Business Excellence Manager (BEX) will effectively manage the business excellence team including business intelligence specialist and IT officer and working closely with the digital specialist. The BEX manager will report into the Head of Commercial and Business Excellence. To improve performance, the BEX manager will work with all departments focusing on the right balance of effectiveness and efficiency. The Bex manager will provide leadership, drive strategy and improve HCP engagement, empowering the use of data driven decision making, optimising business processes and developing a culture of high performance. Activities & Responsibilities β€’ Spearhead the development of a Servier UK BEX vision, creating a strategic plan that ensures our data practices are not only current but pioneering. β€’ Champion the combination of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence to unlock deeper insights and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making. β€’ Support the successful achievement of the wider organisational and commercial strategies. β€’ Leadership; Drive, challenge, partner and align with all departments with the aim of improving performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and translate complex data from different global and local databases into actionable strategies that empower every level of the organization. β€’ Data and BI; Drive BI and data transformation, data management / purchasing, data governance, proactive environmental insights, competitor intelligence, forecasting, data visualisation. Support local implementation and utilisation of world operations analytics offer. β€’ Digital and Omnichannel; Support a successful HCP engagement strategy and cross functional collaboration. β€’ IT; manage IT structure, ensure security, co-ordination and rollout of IT solutions. β€’ Skills and mindset; a focus on developing people into high performers. Improving business skills, account management, analysis, account management, business planning, selling skills and strategic thinking. β€’ Ensure the recording, completion and submission, in accordance with company guidelines and deadlines, of all reports, data and other documentation as required. β€’ Check and validate all reports and expense claims submitted by direct reports. β€’ Provide coaching and development of direct reports, including regular appraisal and career development discussions in line with organisational HR guidelines and YDR processes. β€’ To ensure all activities are conducted within the framework and full compliance of the ABPI Code of Practice, Bribery Act, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Advertising Regulations, UK law and internal Company procedures, with a view to minimising the exposure and risk of the Company. Qualities β€’ An experienced leader, commercial and operational experience, high level analytical and technical experience β€’ Experience in working closely with all field-based teams, strong examples of improving performance and efficiency. β€’ Previous experience in developing and supporting the implementation of a successful HCP engagement strategy β€’ Experience in supporting the development of customer / account targeting, measurement of performance and incentive schemes. Field force effectiveness for all depts. β€’ Experience in the creation of team structures β€’ Excellent presentation and communication skills.
