Business Intelligence Developer

Role: BI Developer (Finance) Duration: 6+ months Location: Remote (needs to commit to working PST hours) Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Developer with a minimum of 8 years of experience in developing BI solutions and a profound understanding of corporate finance, Q2C, or Saas Metrics. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in using software like Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI and should possess knowledge of systems such as Oracle, Salesforce, Zuora, and RevPro. Responsibilities: • Develop advanced and user-friendly dashboards and reports primarily focused on Finance metrics for business and non-technical users, ensuring data accuracy and availability. • Design, construct, install, and maintain large-scale processing systems and other infrastructure. • Interact with various departments to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions that add value to business operations. • UI/UX Dashboard mock ups • Understand, analyze, and connect complex datasets from various sources, especially using Snowflake, to extract meaningful insights. • Collaborate with IT and Finance to ensure seamless integration and alignment of BI solutions with corporate goals and objectives. • Provide support and training to end-users for developed BI solutions. • Develop documentation and best practices and ensure adherence to data management and visualization standards. • Drive BI strategy and related projects as subject matter expert. Qualifications: • Minimum of 8 years of experience in developing business intelligence software preferably in Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI. (Tableau preferred) • Strong background understanding of corporate finance or finance metrics for a Saas business. • Expertise in systems such as Oracle, Salesforce, Zoura, or RevPro. • Clear understanding of relational databases and extensive experience with Snowflake. (requires SQL skills) • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources. Skills: • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Proficient in developing clear and comprehensive technical documentation. • Strong analytical and project management skills. • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. • Aptitude for learning new technologies quickly. • Educational Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
