Role description
Job Role: Business Intelligence Developer (Sigma, Snowflake, APIs) Location: Remote (PST time zone candidates only) Pay Rate: $50/hr. on W2 Eligibility: US Citizens/ GC holders only Duration: 6 months Must have good communication Description Some detail on what we’re looking for in terms of Sigma: • Moderate BI skills, Sigma-preferred to build the BI layout, controls, and actions • Snowflake SQL to build the queries • Familiarity with JSON to shape the payloads • Familiarity with API concepts to use Sigma's "Call API" functionality • In addition to the core Sigma, Snowflake SQL, JSON, and API integration skills, the ideal candidate will: • Design scalable BI workflows that transform raw data into intuitive, action‑driving dashboards within Sigma. • Collaborate with data engineering and business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into well‑structured datasets, queries, and interactive BI components. • Optimize query performance within Snowflake to ensure fast, reliable dashboard experiences across large and complex datasets. • Implement robust data validation and quality checks to maintain accuracy and trust in all delivered insights. • Leverage Sigma’s advanced features including parameters, controls, actions, and API calls—to automate processes and enhance user interactivity. • Document BI assets and data logic to support maintainability, transparency, and cross‑team knowledge sharing. • Troubleshoot data issues end‑to‑end, from source ingestion through dashboard rendering, ensuring smooth and consistent data delivery.
