Job Title: GCP Engineer Location: Dallas, TX/ Tampa, FL / NJ (Hybrid) Duration: Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive GCP Engineer to design, build, and manage cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves working closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using GCP services. β€’ Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud resources with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager. β€’ Implement CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools. β€’ Manage Kubernetes clusters (GKE) and containerized applications (Docker). β€’ Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and cost efficiency. β€’ Ensure security best practices across GCP (IAM, VPC, firewall rules, encryption). β€’ Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis. β€’ Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to build cloud-native applications. β€’ Create and maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and procedures.
