Position Overview
This Senior Full-Stack Cloud Engineer role focuses on designing, developing, and operating cloud-native solutions to deliver personalized customer experiences at scale.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop full-stack cloud solutions in AWS using serverless-first and managed-service-first approaches
• Write clean, maintainable code
• Manage databases and data storage systems
• Define application infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Terraform
• Lead technical discussions and provide hands-on leadership throughout development lifecycle
• Maintain DevOps processes and deployment pipelines
• Support cloud migration by modernizing legacy systems
• Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to align technical solutions with business goals
• Take ownership of end-to-end feature development
• Mentor engineering team members and foster inclusive team culture
Requirements
• Strong communication skills are a must
• 5+ years architecting and developing full-stack solutions with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, GitLab)
• 5+ years backend API development using object-oriented programming (Java, Go, TypeScript/JavaScript)
• 5+ years web application development (HTML, CSS, React, Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript)
• Strong AWS serverless experience (S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, EventBridge)
• Experience with cloud databases (RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB)
• Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS/ECS/Fargate)
• IaC tools experience (Serverless Framework, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform)
• Knowledge of event-driven and service-oriented architectures
• Agile development experience with JIRA and CI/CD pipelines
Education & Certifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Management Information Systems (or equivalent experience)
• AWS Certifications preferred (Solution Architect Associate, Developer, DevOps)
• Additional cloud certifications (GCP, Azure) are beneficial
