Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade cloud network architectures across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
β’ Configure and manage hybrid cloud connectivity solutions, including:
β’ AWS Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and CloudWAN
β’ VPN tunnels, private interconnects, and ExpressRoute (Azure)
β’ Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams to enforce cloud networking best practices.
β’ Build infrastructure using Terraform, including modular and reusable networking templates.
β’ Harden cloud environments by implementing NACLs, routing policies, firewall rules, and segmentation.
β’ Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, latency, and connectivity issues using tools such as CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, Wireshark, and ELK Stack.
β’ Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for cloud-related network outages.
β’ Document all network designs, standards, and procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
β’ 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure/networking engineering.
β’ Expert-level skills in AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud networking services.
Hands-on experience with:
β’ Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, CloudWAN
β’ VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, NACLs, Security Groups
β’ Azure ExpressRoute, GCP Cloud Interconnect
β’ Proven Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform (modular development and Git workflows).
β’ Proficiency in Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS) networking components: CNI plugins, ingress/egress controllers, service mesh.
β’ Familiarity with Istio, Karpenter, and container-native load balancing.
β’ Experience supporting regulated or security-sensitive environments (e.g., financial institutions).
Nice to Have:
β’ Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
Certifications (e.g., AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer, Azure Network Engineer Associate).
