Role description
ASML - Azure Cloud Engineer Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid 2 days a week core business hours) Pay: $120,000-$155,000 Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Equipment ect. Responsibilities β€’ Develop solutions using modern programming (scripting) language for automation of build tasks (PowerShell, arm/bicep, YAML, terraform and/or C# would be a plus) β€’ Build and deploy resources using Infrastructure-as-Code β€’ Develop solutions using Azure DevOps β€’ Operations task, using cloud native tools, like Log Analytics, Azure Monitor and Azure Security Center or other monitoring tooling β€’ Deliver/update documentation (e.g. product descriptions, operational tasks) on CCoE wiki β€’ Be part of a multidisciplinary DevOps team which takes ownership of both new development and operational activities. β€’ Help and support internal ASML customers that have onboarded to your environment β€’ Make sure that the internal ASML customer is and stays secure when onboarded to your environment β€’ Implement tasks related to network platform operations β€’ Local to San Jose or open to working onsite 2 days per week. Hard skills β€’ Configuring and using IaaS (like Virtual Machines ) β€’ Configuring and using PaaS (like WebApp, Database services, Kubernetes, Data Lake, Databricks etc.). β€’ Networking principles and protocols such as IP subnetting, Network Security Groups, routing, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, load balancer, DNS, etc. β€’ Engineering and coding skills applied in an agile way β€’ Working with Azure DevOps for automated deployments. β€’ Always have costs and security in mind when creating new products or solutions. β€’ Understand the concepts of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to maximize automation, reduce waste, increase scale and apply systemic thinking β€’ Working with Azure cloud native tooling Soft skills β€’ Passionate about driving new technology solutions (change) β€’ Good communication and presentation skills β€’ Team player β€’ Able to express ideas effectively in individual and group situations (including non-verbal communication); adjusting language or terminology to the characteristics and needs of the audience) β€’ Ability to listen effectively to others and give constructive feedback β€’ Continuous improvement mindset β€’ Strong documentation skills β€’ Good customer focus and customer facing skills β€’ Able to execute a task in a good manner and with good results with limited supervision
