Role description
Job Title: AWS Connect Developer Projected Start Date: 10-27-2025 Location: Remote (requires onsite in Dallas, TX three times per year) Required Skills • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect in enterprise environments. • Strong proficiency in AWS services: Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, IAM, CloudWatch, etc. • Experience with contact center technologies: IVR, CTI, call routing, agent scripting. • Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js or Python for Lambda development. • Familiarity with AWS Lex, Polly, and Transcribe for voice automation. • Experience integrating with Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar platforms via APIs. • Understanding of security best practices, including encryption, role-based access, and compliance (e.g., HIPAA, PCI). Role Summary We are seeking experienced AWS Connect Developers to join our enterprise team as we launch a greenfield implementation of Amazon Connect. This role is critical in designing, developing, and deploying scalable contact center solutions that integrate seamlessly with our existing systems and deliver exceptional customer experiences.  Key Responsibilities ·       Design and implement Amazon Connect contact flows, routing profiles, and agent hierarchies. ·       Develop and maintain Lambda functions, Lex bots, and AWS Step Functions to support dynamic call handling. ·       Integrate Amazon Connect with CRM platforms, ticketing systems, and data lakes using APIs and AWS services. ·       Build custom reporting dashboards and analytics using Amazon QuickSight, CloudWatch, and Kinesis. ·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Customer Experience to ensure scalable and secure deployments. ·       Support testing, debugging, and optimization of contact center workflows and voice/chat experiences. ·       Document architecture, flows, and configurations for long-term maintainability.  Required Skills & Experience ·       3+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect in enterprise environments. ·       Strong proficiency in AWS services: Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, IAM, CloudWatch, etc. ·       Experience with contact center technologies: IVR, CTI, call routing, agent scripting. ·       Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js or Python for Lambda development. ·       Familiarity with AWS Lex, Polly, and Transcribe for voice automation. ·       Experience integrating with Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar platforms via APIs. ·       Understanding of security best practices, including encryption, role-based access, and compliance (e.g., HIPAA, PCI). ·       Excellent communication and documentation skills.  Preferred Qualifications ·       AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect. ·       Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform). ·       Experience connecting to CRM – Salesforce ·       Background in customer experience design or contact center operations. ·       Experience with multi-region deployments and high-availability architectures.
