Consumer Insights Analyst – Contract – Remote – $45.00 - $50.00/hr. The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship not available. Our client is seeking a Remote Consumer Insights Analyst. Reporting into the Head of America’s Commercial Excellence, the Commercial Analytics and Reporting Analyst – Channel will be a key partner to the region’s Sales, Marketing and Analytics teams by developing and delivering business intelligence support and data delivery services. This individual will join the Commercial Excellence Americas team to support the US Commercial business and its senior management through the development and delivery of key commercial processes and analytics. The Commercial Analytics and Reporting Analyst – Channel will be able to effectively navigate a complex data environment, partner with IT and integrate multiple data services to build and deliver highly effective data services via deployed Tableau, Integrichain, and other reporting platforms. Responsibilities • Lead analyst for Americas Commercial Channel team, responsible for developing and managing advanced reporting, analytics, and dashboards. • First point of contact for analytics requests and questions regarding the Channel Team in the US • Conduct analyses on sell in, sell out, consumption and inventory levels • Create holistic dashboards from multiple internal and external data sources to support business development and sales performance • Lead data consolidation and validation efforts in collaboration with IT teams. • Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis requirements. • Collaborate with Commercial teams to develop and implement dashboard and drilldown reporting capabilities. • Represent Channel Team in Commercial Connect meetings and other team connection points · Forecast sales in multiple channels of the business • Assist with projects to transition to new data processing and supply systems (e.g., Integrichain) • Understand and manage customer expectations and software implementation methodologies. • Act as a liaison between local, regional, and global commercial organizations, IT PMs, and development teams. • Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards. • Strong analytical skills and ability to decompose complex business processes into actionable items. • Responsible for some Sales Incentive Compensation calculations and reporting. Skills & Requirements • 3+ years of relevant analytics experience in technology, an in-house analytics team or consulting. • 3+ years of experience with Tableau, and 5+ years experience with Excel and PowerPoint • Proven ability to leverage analytics and work with complex datasets to meet requirements. • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. • Demonstrated experience in strategic and cross-functional activities. • Ability to create constructive relationships, influence, and communicate across various organizational teams, both technical and business focused.
