Data Analytics Operations Lead
Oakland CA or Alpharetta - GA (Onsite from Day 1)

Data & Analytics Data Operations Lead
β’ The Data & Analytics Data Operations lead will perform the following:
β’ Act as primary point of contact for D&A Operations, working with business users, data architects, application development teams, data analytics teams, business analytics, product managers, the data governance COE, SRE and various IT partners
β’ Socialize the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Data & Analytics (D&A) across the enterprise
β’ Implement the SOP in iterations as new Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are established for the critical datasets and reports sourced from Enterprise Data Platform (EDP)
β’ Establish the support model process flow with accountable D&A counterparts to ensure the L1, L2, L3 model has designated resources from each team, and the process and procedures are understood by all team members
β’ Manage the on-call rotation accounting for holidays, on/offshore PTO in adherence to enterprise policies and procedures
β’ Create requirements for operational reporting to include:
β’ Daily load status (Green/Yellow/Red) with βas ofβ data load datetime for each critical data asset
β’ Data quality checks (Counts, Key validation, job completion times, etc.)
β’ Dashboard for trends/patterns over time
β’ Metrics for changes, incidents, problems and requests.
How will you make an impact:
β’ Build out a modern operational support team that can scale while continuously improving
β’ Partner with D&A Data Engineering team to operationalize the reconciliation framework and provide daily status reports
β’ Collaborate with data architects to understand data structures and concepts including conceptual, logical, and dimensional models and provide feedback
β’ Performs data analysis and triage required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues
β’ Support and collaborate with other IT teams
β’ Maintains knowledge, ensures competency and compliance with policies and procedures, to be the technical expert while collaborating with cross-functional teams

What we look for:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field.
β’ 3+ years of data experience preferably in data operations
β’ 3+ years of experience in Matillion and/or Snowflake
β’ Experience in data profiling, data analysis and building Data Quality metrics
β’ Expertise in SQL
β’ Knowledge of best practices and IT operations (L1, L2, L3 support) and in an always-up, always-available service
β’ Experience with disaster recovery drills and documentation
β’ Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
β’ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
β’ Process oriented with great documentation skills
β’ Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
