Role description
Codeworks is an IT Services firm headquartered in SE Wisconsin, known for our strong commitment to quality and for our direct client relationships. Position Summary Codeworks is seeking a Sr. Charles River Support Analyst to serve as the primary liaison between business users and IT for all CRIMS-related initiatives. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to bridge technical and business needs, configure and maintain CRIMS modules, and ensure optimal system performance. The ideal candidate will lead testing, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities β€’ Serve as the primary liaison between business users and IT for CRIMS initiatives. β€’ Analyze and document trading workflows, compliance rules, and portfolio management processes; identify gaps and propose solutions. β€’ Configure and maintain CRIMS modules including Order Management, Compliance, and Portfolio Management. β€’ Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and compliance teams to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions. β€’ Lead testing, validation, and deployment of CRIMS updates and enhancements. β€’ Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to trade execution, compliance alerts, and data integration. β€’ Coordinate with Charles River support and internal teams for workflow changes, upgrades, and patches. β€’ Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, and change requests. Required Skills & Experience β€’ 5+ years of experience working with Charles River CRIMS in a business systems or analyst role. β€’ Strong understanding of investment management operations, trading workflows, and compliance processes. β€’ Experience with FIX protocol, market data feeds, and integration with upstream/downstream systems. β€’ Excellent analytical skills and ability to evaluate complex systems and workflows. β€’ Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field. Preferred Qualifications β€’ Experience with SQL and data analysis tools. β€’ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices. β€’ CRD training or certification in Charles River modules. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable. This position is preferred onsite in Boston but could be remote for the right candidate. There is also potential for this role to convert from contract to a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
