Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Location: Hybrid (4 days a week onsite in Coral Gables, FL preferred)
Responsibilities:
β’ Provide leadership and strategic direction for AI initiatives collaborating with the Data science team
β’ Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure AI solutions align with business goals and product roadmap
β’ Evaluate/deconstruct current business processes to re-engineer them via AI. Identify opportunities that can set us apart by leveraging AI
β’ Provide training, adoption programs and guidance to teams on AI technologies and applications. Work with the teams on leading and enabling change
β’ Collaborate with the Head of data science and engineers to develop AI solutions
β’ Stay up to date with the latest AI trends and technologies
β’ Measure the effectiveness of implemented AI strategies and how it creates value for the firm
β’ Ensure compliance with AI security and compliance frameworks as it relates to a SEC regulated entity
Background:
β’ Proven experience as an AI Consultant or similar role
β’ Experience in designing and implementing AI solutions
β’ Ability to translate business requirements into AI applications and solutions and the data needed to power these
β’ Experience with AI related programming languages such as Python
β’ Experience with Snowflake, CrewAI, Lllamacloud and other python libraries
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
β’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
β’ Experience working with cross-functional teams and coordinating people and resources
β’ Experience developing a strategy and implementing a program
β’ Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
β’ Ability to work in an open and highly collaborative environment.
Education: Strong academic record and a BA/BS degree with high mathematical and computing content (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering or relevant field
