Salary: $55.00 to $60.00 hourly Description About the Role: We are seeking Credit Risk Analysts to support the development, deployment, and optimization of data-driven credit risk underwriting policies. This temporary position will focus on implementing policy decisioning logic, conducting rigorous data analysis and quality assurance, and supporting credit risk operations in a fast-paced fintech environment. Key Responsibilities β€’ Develop, deploy, and maintain data-driven credit risk underwriting policies. β€’ Author, deploy, and manage credit policy decisioning rules using Camunda (open-source rules engine). β€’ Conduct thorough pre-production User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate decision logic before go-live. β€’ Perform detailed data quality assurance by comparing and reconciling datasets (e.g., distributions, score matches). β€’ Conduct general and ad-hoc data queries and analyses to support credit policy decisions. β€’ Design and implement metrics and dashboards to monitor portfolio performance and detect emerging risk trends. β€’ Use data-driven insights to continuously improve underwriting frameworks and risk strategies. Requirements Required Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. β€’ Minimum 2+ years of industry experience in: β€’ Credit policy development and implementation. β€’ Underwriting frameworks, customer segmentation, or valuation modeling. β€’ Proficient in Python and SQL; experience with Databricks or BigQuery preferred. β€’ Hands-on experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration. β€’ Proficient in data visualization and dashboard development using Quicksight, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools. β€’ Strong understanding of statistical analysis and experience working with complex datasets. β€’ Proven ability to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs). β€’ Industry experience in credit risk, lending, or fintech. β€’ Familiarity with tax and/or credit bureau data (e.g., TransUnion, Experian, Equifax). β€’ Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
