Cybersecurity BI Developer

(Onsite – No Remote) Interview: In-person interview required Work Authorization: No H1B | Local candidates only Role Overview We are seeking a Cybersecurity Metrics Developer to design and deliver data-driven solutions that strengthen our cybersecurity metrics and reporting framework. This role combines technical expertise with strategic insight, requiring strong proficiency in data modeling, business intelligence (BI) tools, and analytics. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cybersecurity product teams, metric owners, and executive stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable dashboards, reports, and automated alerts that drive visibility into cybersecurity performance. They will also play a key role in evolving the metrics framework to ensure accuracy, reliability, and alignment with organizational risk objectives. Key Responsibilities • Lead the full lifecycle delivery of BI reporting and dashboards. • Translate business needs into actionable and visually impactful dashboard/report designs. • Prepare and transform data: source, clean, integrate, and mine relevant data sources. • Propose innovative approaches to complex BI and advanced data visualization challenges. • Build and maintain consultative relationships with stakeholders to proactively identify needs and address compliance/regulatory requirements. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field (or equivalent experience/training). • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining BI and data visualization programs at scale. • 2+ years of experience with Power Apps and Power Automate. • Strong expertise in Power BI development. • Solid SQL skills for database development and querying. • Proficiency with BI tools and ability to implement creative, data-driven solutions. • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications • Master’s degree (MS) in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. • 2+ years of experience in a technical professional environment. • Industry exposure to airline/travel, finance, healthcare, or government. • Experience with: • Python or R for programming and analytics. • Data mining, Big Data concepts, statistical & machine learning algorithms. • Text mining, recommender systems, predictive/prescriptive analytics. • ETL processes using Alteryx (preferred) or similar tools. • Advanced data wrangling from multiple disparate sources. • Visualization tools such as Tableau in addition to Power BI. • Strong ability to work in an agile, operationally driven environment. • Proven ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
