We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with 5–7 years of experience to join our team on a contract basis. As a mid-senior level professional, you will play a critical role in transforming data into meaningful insights that support business decisions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with data visualization tools, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different functions to deliver accurate and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, process, and analyst large datasets to support business needs.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct trend analysis, forecasting, and statistical modelling.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through data-driven recommendations.
• Work closely with IT and engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and integrations.
• Document analysis processes and maintain detailed reports for future reference.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in analytics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).
• Proficiency in Excel and advanced statistical techniques.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL, and relational databases.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (AWS Redshift, Google Big Query, Azure Synapse).
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and predictive analytics.
• Exposure to big data tools (Hadoop, Spark).
• Certification in Microsoft Data Analyst Associate, Tableau, or Google Data Analytics.
• Previous experience in finance, healthcare, or e-commerce domains.
