Responsibilities • Provide data to end-users for solving business problems • Design and build ETL process for business use with proper diligence • Design and build quantitative solutions on top of the data gathered • Work with IT support group to monitor and maintain existing systems • Continually increase business acumen and research skills to deliver optimized business solutions • Support process framework, governance standards, audit controls, architecture, and financial management • Communicate project status, progress, risks, issues and expected outcomes to stakeholders • Coordinate with IT in the rollout of new systems under SDLC guidelines Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial Science, or related field • Ability to work under pressure to accomplish individual and team objectives • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities • Skills in relational database design and development (SQL Server/Oracle) • Skills in big data ETL with Python • Verbal and written communication skills with appropriate detail for each audience Preferred Qualifications • Experience in commercial software development • Proficiency in compiled and interpreted languages • Familiarity with software development tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Git • Strong understanding of data warehousing, analytics, reporting and best practices • Good judgment with the ability to innovate solutions • Highly organized and detail oriented with a premium on accuracy • Financial industry experience • Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure
