Responsibilities
β’ Provide data to end-users for solving business problems
β’ Design and build ETL process for business use with proper diligence
β’ Design and build quantitative solutions on top of the data gathered
β’ Work with IT support group to monitor and maintain existing systems
β’ Continually increase business acumen and research skills to deliver optimized business solutions
β’ Support process framework, governance standards, audit controls, architecture, and financial management
β’ Communicate project status, progress, risks, issues and expected outcomes to stakeholders
β’ Coordinate with IT in the rollout of new systems under SDLC guidelines
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial Science, or related field
β’ Ability to work under pressure to accomplish individual and team objectives
β’ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities
β’ Skills in relational database design and development (SQL Server/Oracle)
β’ Skills in big data ETL with Python
β’ Verbal and written communication skills with appropriate detail for each audience
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience in commercial software development
β’ Proficiency in compiled and interpreted languages
β’ Familiarity with software development tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Git
β’ Strong understanding of data warehousing, analytics, reporting and best practices
β’ Good judgment with the ability to innovate solutions
β’ Highly organized and detail oriented with a premium on accuracy
β’ Financial industry experience
β’ Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure
