Role description
Data Analyst Location: Remote - Concord, NH Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2 only, no C2C) Contract Length: 6 months (possible extension) Compensation: $43–$47 per hour (based on experience) Summary of the Role Join a growing organization supporting workforce planning and operational analytics initiatives through hands-on data analysis and reporting. This role focuses on maintaining hiring and onboarding datasets, ensuring data integrity across multiple systems, and delivering actionable reporting to support business decisions. The Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve visibility, forecasting, and operational readiness. Key Responsibilities • Maintain and update workforce and hiring datasets within Smartsheet and related systems • Clean, validate, transform, and consolidate large datasets from multiple sources • Develop and maintain advanced Excel forecasting and tracking models • Build and update dashboards and visualizations using Power BI • Support workforce planning, onboarding, and operational analytics initiatives • Generate weekly and monthly reporting on hiring progress and onboarding readiness • Identify and resolve discrepancies and data quality issues • Consolidate reporting into centralized, single-source datasets • Document workflows, data definitions, and process improvements • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy Qualifications • 3+ years of experience working with large datasets in analytics or operations environments • Strong data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation experience • Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and forecasting models • Experience with Smartsheet and Power BI or similar reporting tools • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Experience managing data from multiple systems and sources • Strong attention to detail and focus on data integrity • Experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, or operational analytics preferred • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments • Strong communication and documentation skills Top 3 Must Have Skills • Hands-on experience with large datasets in analytics or workforce planning • Advanced Excel and Power BI / Smartsheet reporting skills • Strong data management, cleansing, and validation expertise Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Maintain centralized hiring and onboarding datasets • Perform data entry, validation, and reconciliation activities • Generate hiring and onboarding progress reports • Build and maintain dashboards and forecasting models • Identify data gaps, discrepancies, and operational risks • Support process improvements and reporting consistency initiatives • Collaborate with execution leads and operational stakeholders Apply Now Ready to support workforce analytics and data-driven operational planning for a growing organization?
