Capital Market/Bank/ Finance experience is must have Describe your department – size, structure, team culture The Customer Protection control team (CPCT) is tasked with providing central governance and oversight of daily transaction processing with respect to compliance responsibilities for Possession and Control (SEA Rule 15c3-3 & CIRO 4311). The team also oversees all new business and change initiatives that may impact Customer Protection related work streams, ensuring compliance adherence for each change / implementation. Daily Responsibilities: Describe a typical ‘day in the life’ • Ensure accurate record keeping of all data, reports, and supporting documentation maintained by the department. • Prepare departmental metrics and daily/weekly/ad-hoc management reports. • Assist in the fulfillment of CP Related regulatory/audit inquiries / reviews. • Fulfill applicable Monthly FOCUS Reporting (US only) requirements Provide support to the team with respect to ongoing FINOP and FOCUS reporting related projects and issues. • Perform daily monitoring activities with respect to assigned BPS user entry authorizations. • Perform Controls Testing covering key FRR (Financial Responsibility Rules) controls within BCS What program/technology/software knowledge is essential for this role? Describe in what capacity the selected candidate will be using it? High proficiency level across Microsoft suite of products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio. Medium proficiency level across vlook up., macro. Must-have Skills/Experiences and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations: • High proficiency level across Microsoft suite of products: Word, Excel (Macro knowledge), PowerPoint • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferably with emphasis in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Or strong extended experience in equivalent role. • 1-3 + years’ experience in Bank, Financial Services, US Capital Markets Broker / Dealer Operation and or Canadian Broker Dealer. Nice-to-have Skills/Experience and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations: Capital Markets / Broker-Dealer Operations Broadridge (BPS, Impact, Postedge) SEA Rule 15c3-3 & CIRO 4311 (Possession and Control Intake Questions – Please Complete Soft Skills: Good communication skills, analytical Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
