Role description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with a strong background in data processing, transformation, and analysis using SQL, Python, and AWS technologies. The ideal candidate will support data-driven decision-making by building efficient data pipelines, analyzing large datasets, and ensuring data quality across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities: • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, and Redshift. • Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational and cloud-based data stores. • Develop and maintain Python scripts for data wrangling, automation, and transformation tasks. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions. • Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy through validation and test automation practices. • Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Required Skills & Experience: • Proficiency with SQL and Python for data analysis and transformation. • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue ETL, Lambda, S3, Redshift, EMR, ECS, and RDS (PostgreSQL/Oracle). • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and performance tuning. • Experience with test automation tools and best practices for validating data workflows. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a data analyst, data engineer, or similar role. • Financial services industry experience is a plus. • Relevant certifications in AWS or data analytics tools are desirable.
