Data Analyst

Role: Data Analyst Location: Mountain View, CA (Remote) Duration: 10-12 months Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with data visualization, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources. • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports to support business decision-making. • Perform data validation, ensure accuracy, and maintain data integrity. • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets to generate actionable insights. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business stakeholders. • Support ad-hoc data requests and provide timely analysis for business needs. • Document processes, workflows, and best practices for data analysis. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and managing datasets. • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker). • Solid understanding of Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation and reporting. • Knowledge of at least one programming language for data analysis (Python or R preferred). • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with big data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, or similar). • Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data warehousing concepts. • Prior experience in technology or product-driven organizations. • Exposure to statistical modeling or machine learning techniques is a plus.
