DATA ANALYST – 6 MONTH FTC SALARY UP TO (£55,000) HYBRID - LONDON An award-winning marketing and data-driven organisation is seeking a Data Analyst to join a major UK public-sector account. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within one of the agency’s largest and most analytically rich programmes, supporting end-to-end customer engagement, performance measurement, and test-and-learn strategy. You’ll join a highly collaborative analytics function, working closely with senior analysts, data planners, strategists, and campaign teams to deliver insight that shapes both marketing activity and customer experience. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys large datasets, complex customer journeys, and meaningful, high-impact analytical work. THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Deliver regular contractual and monthly reporting across key audience groups. • Support forecasting of direct mail and email volumes. • Carry out post-campaign evaluations to support test-and-learn strategies. • Conduct profiling, segmentation, and audience behaviour analysis. • Analyse customer journeys and uncover behavioural patterns and flow across the base. • Work on deeper-dive analytical projects, identifying opportunities to use data creatively. • Collaborate with data planning, data strategy, and account teams to inform decisions. • Support development of test plans and broader data-led marketing strategies. • Extract, manipulate, and analyse data within a SAS/SQL environment. YOUR SKILLS: • Experience in a Data Analyst role, ideally within marketing, CRM, or customer insight. • Strong technical capability with SAS, SQL, and Excel (essential). • Confident working with large relational databases and complex datasets. • Highly numerate with strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. • Understanding of test-and-learn methodologies in a marketing or customer context. • Strong organisation skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work to tight deadlines. • Excellent communication skills — able to present complex findings clearly. • Positive, collaborative team player with resilience in a fast-moving environment.
