Data Analyst - Contract – Remote – $55.00- $59.50/hr. The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship not available. Our client is seeking a Data Analyst for a remote opportunity. Role Description Job Description: o Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of data management solutions and data storage within folders to accurately identify data owners. • Collaborate with various stakeholders to assess and document their data access requirements in detail. • Support engineers in restructuring data folder hierarchies to ensure that data access is strictly limited to authorized personnel. • Continuously monitor and maintain the integrity of data access across all organizational folder structures. • Assist in the design and implementation of procedures for granting access during new folder creation. • Provide accurate and timely status reports regarding data collection efforts and overall progress. Job Expectations: o Evaluate information, requirements, data, work quality, methodologies, processes, service-specific practices, standards, and metrics/statistics with advanced analytical techniques. • Interpret analytical outcomes and present well-founded recommendations, including alternatives and their potential implications, ensuring moderate organizational impact. • Collaborate with other business units to assess and enhance processing procedures, as well as to resolve operational issues with a focus on continuous improvement. • Analyze policy, procedural, and product changes to determine their effects on group functions using advanced methods. • Identify and evaluate opportunities for new or improved processes, data, or technology, providing comprehensive insights into potential outcomes through advanced analysis. • Partner with peers, business units, project teams, and vendors to effectively communicate, document, and fulfill business requirements, supporting leadership initiatives as needed. • Monitor and assess key performance indicators and establish robust processes and methodologies for preventative measures utilizing advanced analytics. • Compile, review, and prepare data sets for use by analysts and management in evaluating operations, services, and products, particularly for complex or difficult analyses. • Conduct benchmarking, perform trend analyses, and integrate findings to promote continuous improvement and elevate service performance, generating moderate organizational impact. • Leverage analytical findings to propose data-driven hypotheses and actionable recommendations through sophisticated analysis. • Address business challenges by clearly defining problems, engaging stakeholders, identifying and assessing options, and formally presenting conclusions, managing moderately complex and varied scenarios. • Contribute to the development and refinement of best practices for the respective functional area. • Ensure strict adherence to established IT policies, procedures, standards, and recognized best practices. Skills & Requirements Qualifications: o Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience • Strong knowledge of IT policies and procedures • Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while meeting deadlines • Extensive experience in developing and delivering IT solutions with a focus on enhanced business intelligence • Proven expertise in research, analysis, and problem-solving • Advanced organizational, planning, and time management capabilities • Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization • Demonstrated experience working effectively within cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams and projects • Advanced proficiency in presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information in a clear and concise manner • Well-developed relationship building, negotiation, and facilitation abilities • Experience in leading, guiding, and mentoring colleagues • Strong initiative and sound judgment in decision-making • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Advanced capability to analyze and structure problems or workflows to develop technical solutions • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment • Significant experience translating business requirements into effective technical solutions Benefits/Other Compensation This position is a contract/temporary role where Hays offers you the opportunity to enroll in full medical benefits, dental benefits, vision benefits, 401K and Life Insurance ($20,000 benefit).
