About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled HR Data Analyst (Contract) to join our dynamic Human Resources team at Airbus. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across multiple locations including Herndon, VA, Mobile, AL, and Wichita, KS. As an HR Data Analyst, you will leverage advanced analytical techniques and data visualization tools to transform complex HR data into actionable insights. Your work will support strategic decision-making, improve HR processes, and enhance the overall employee experience. You will collaborate with stakeholders across departments, design analytical methodologies, and employ a diverse set of tools and frameworks to tell compelling data-driven stories. This position requires a versatile, detail-oriented individual with a problem-solving attitude committed to driving innovation within our HR functions.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science/Analytics, Applied Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with SQL and Python.
β’ Practical experience applying analytical skills and tools such as Tableau and SQL in a business environment.
β’ Knowledge of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data formats (XML, JSON, etc.).
β’ Experience with data modeling, data warehouses, and database management.
β’ Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
β’ Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools, including Tableau, Alteryx, and Skywise.
β’ Strong communication, presentation, and time management skills.
β’ Certifications such as Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer are a plus.
β’ Authorized to work in the US.
β’ Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%.
Responsibilities
β’ Assist in collecting, cleaning, and transforming data from various sources to ensure data quality and consistency.
β’ Perform large-scale data analysis using statistical and mathematical methods to uncover insights relevant to HR functions.
β’ Identify actionable insights and provide recommendations to influence HR strategies and decision-making processes.
β’ Develop and enhance data models, dashboards, and visualizations to clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.
β’ Write and execute complex data queries using SQL, Python, or other programming languages.
β’ Support the development, testing, and deployment of machine learning models for HR analytics initiatives.
β’ Document data processes, methodologies, and analytical findings for transparency and future reference.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other data analysts to share best practices and improve analytical capabilities.
β’ Continuously learn and apply new data technologies, tools, and industry best practices to enhance analytical solutions.
β’ Handle semi-structured and unstructured data, assembling large datasets to meet business requirements.
β’ Present insights and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
