Job Title: Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer
Location: London - 1/2 in office per week
Contract / Permanent: Contract - 3 months - Outside IR35
Day Rate: £450-£600 - Dependent on Experience
About the Role:
I am looking for a skilled Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer to join a small team, someone who is comfortable working with data modelling, complex SQL, and delivering actionable insights. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a data-driven environment where your technical expertise directly impacts business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain data models, including dimension and fact tables, to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and manipulate data efficiently.
• Develop and maintain DBT models (where applicable) to ensure robust and scalable data pipelines.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards to deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
• Use GitHub for version control and collaboration on data pipelines and analytics projects.
• Assist in translating raw data into clear, impactful business insights that guide strategy and decision-making.
Requirements:
• Strong experience in data modelling, including creating and managing dimension and fact tables.
• Proven ability to manipulate and transform complex datasets for analytics purposes.
• Proficiency in SQL and comfortable writing complex queries.
• Experience with DBT is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI to produce reports and dashboards.

• Comfortable taking raw data and turning it into actionable insights.
