Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Midvale, UT that is looking for a Data Analyst for Data Integration & Enablement. Summary: This role focuses on integrating data from a variety of source systems into modern data platforms-including Enterprise Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Data Mesh environments, and Operational Data Stores (ODS)-while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and usability. The Data Analyst will partner closely with both business and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze source systems, and design scalable data flows that support operational and strategic initiatives. From documenting metadata and transformation logic to validating data quality and supporting automation, this role will play a key role in delivering trusted, actionable data across the organization. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about SQL, Python, and modern data platform tools, with an interest in emerging technologies such as dbt, Databricks, cloud-based data environments, and AI-driven solutions.
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
β’ 2+ years of experience (or strong academic background) using SQL and Python
β’ 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data integration, or a related field
β’ Experience contributing to projects or providing informal leadership/mentorship
β’ Advanced SQL for data profiling, transformation, testing, and validation
β’ Python for automation and data processing
β’ Exposure to modern data stack tools such as dbt, Databricks, and cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure)
β’ Strong ability to gather requirements and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
β’ Excellent documentation and process-mapping skills
β’ Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
β’ Clear and professional communication skills
β’ Familiarity with AI concepts or prompt engineering is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
