Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support a large-scale financial systems transformation involving data migration from Oracle Hyperion to Tagetik. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a data-driven environment and enjoys working hands-on with data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy across financial systems. You will play a key role in supporting critical migration efforts while collaborating with finance, accounting, and technical teams to deliver high-quality data outcomes.
Responsibilities
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Support financial data migration from Oracle Hyperion to Tagetik
• Analyze large datasets to identify discrepancies, duplicates, and data integrity issues
• Assist with year-over-year data rollforward and historical data transitions
• Utilize advanced Excel functions to reconcile and validate datasets
• Partner with finance, accounting, and technical teams to gather requirements and resolve issues
• Support data mapping, reconciliation, testing, and validation throughout the migration lifecycle
• Create and maintain documentation for data flows, quality checks, and reporting requirements
• Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to project stakeholders
Qualifications
• 2–3 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Financial Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar role
• Hands-on experience with data cleansing, validation, and migration initiatives
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data reconciliation, reporting)
• Experience working with financial or accounting-related data (budgeting, forecasting, reporting)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Preferred:
• Experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or accounting environments
• Exposure to Oracle Hyperion (HFM, Planning, Essbase)
• Familiarity with Tagetik or other financial consolidation/reporting tools
• Experience supporting financial system implementations or data migration projects
• Understanding of financial reporting cycles (month-end, year-end, forecasting
