Role description
Data Analyst (Hybrid)
Our client, a premier global media and entertainment company, is actively seeking a Data Analyst for their Enterprise Architecture team. In this position you will rationalize, simplify, and improve a portfolio of ~6,000+ applications. You will ensure the quality, traceability, and usefulness of the data that drives Enterprise Architectural decisions.

Responsibilities for Data Analyst:
β’ Data Consolidation & Cleansing: Collect, ingest, and clean data from spreadsheets, application databases, warehouses, and enterprise systems into structured views.
β’ Application-to-Infrastructure Mapping: Support dependency analysis by connecting applications, processes, and infrastructure components.
β’ Data Integration: Work across multiple systems and sources to integrate application, infrastructure, and reference data into a unified view.
β’ Data Warehousing: Leverage data warehouses to structure and manage large volumes of application and infrastructure data, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
β’ Data Quality Management: Maintain data accuracy, lineage, and completeness across EA datasets, ensuring information is trusted and usable.
β’ Cross-Domain Support: Partner with Business Analysts and Architects to ensure data models align with business capabilities and processes.
β’ Documentation: Clearly document mappings, transformations, and lineage so data can be reused across the enterprise.
β’ Insight Generation: Translate raw data into insights and dashboards that inform EAβs portfolio rationalization and transformation initiatives.
β’ Change Support: Extend and maintain data integration processes during enterprise transformation and restructuring periods.
Requirements/Qualifications for Data Analyst:
β’ 3+ years of experience in data analysis or enterprise data roles.
β’ Proven ability to ingest, clean, and transform data from multiple, diverse sources.
β’ Hands-on experience with data warehousing concepts (application data structuring, staging, and reporting).
β’ Strong skills in data mapping, lineage tracking, and dependency analysis.
β’ Experience integrating data across multiple systems (applications, infrastructure, finance, HR, etc.).
β’ Demonstrated ability to ensure data quality, consistency, and traceability across enterprise sources.
β’ Ability to analyze and present complex data to business and technical audiences.
β’ Strong collaboration skills, able to work across business, architecture, and IT stakeholders.
β’ Comfortable working with incomplete or ambiguous data; able to create clarity through structured analysis.
β’ Attention to detail with the ability to step back and see broader enterprise patterns.
β’ Strong communication and visualization skills to make complex data understandable.
β’ Curiosity and adaptability β a quick learner with a mindset focused on outcomes, not just tools.
