Data Analytics and Insights Lead - long-term contract opportunity - hybrid onsite- Franklin Lakes NJ Role Summary: The Data Analytics and Insights Lead is responsible for leading, managing, and continuously improving analytics, and reporting related work across systems. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership to ensure high-quality, trusted insights that support operational efficiency, data governance, compliance, and decision-making. The position combines people and workstream management with advanced analytics, Power BI expertise, and the application of Agentic AI solutions to modernize reporting, automate insights, and scale data-driven outcomes through close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage analytics, and reporting activities, ensuring effective execution and clear ownership across the workstream. • Convert and modernize legacy reporting solutions to Power BI. • Design, develop, and govern Power BI dashboards and semantic models to deliver actionable insights to business and operational stakeholders. • Leverage Agentic AI solutions to automate data analysis, issue triage, and insight generation where applicable. • Provide leadership oversight for ad hoc data extract and insight requests from supply chain and other business teams. • Establish and maintain robust report documentation, standards, and best practices to support knowledge transfer, scalability, and continuity of operations. Tools & Technologies: • Enterprise systems (JDE, SAP) • SQL Server / SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) • Power BI • Microsoft Excel • Microsoft Access (legacy support) • Agentic AI and automation solutions • Microsoft Word Skills & Competencies: • Strong leadership experience in data analytics, insights delivery, and workstream management. • Deep expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and enterprise reporting solutions. • Working knowledge of Agentic AI concepts and applied automation for analytics and data operations. • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and SQL skills. • Ability to manage multiple recurring and ad hoc priorities while driving modernization and efficiency. • Excellent communication and documentation skills to support executive and cross-functional engagement.
