Job Title: Data Analytics Analyst III Location: Birmingham, AL (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 remote) Compensation:Β $65/hr Employment Type: Contract – 3 years Visa Sponsorship: Available (H1B considered) Hours: 40 per week, typical schedule 7–9AM start / 3–5PM end Background/References: 10-year background check + drug screen required Travel: Not required Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Analyst III to join a long-term engagement focused on delivering advanced data solutions for business operations. This individual will leverage their expertise in SQL, Python, Power BI, and ETL processes to analyze complex datasets, provide insights, and support decision-making. The role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a highly visible environment. Key Responsibilities β€’ Design, build, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using Power BI to communicate actionable insights. β€’ Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data extraction and transformation. β€’ Support ETL processes and integrate data from multiple sources into centralized repositories. β€’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. β€’ Leverage Python, DAX, and PowerQuery for advanced analytics and automation. β€’ Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established standards. β€’ Contribute to the development of low-code/no-code applications as needed to streamline reporting and workflows. β€’ Provide analytical support for financial and operational data to aid business decisions. β€’ Document technical procedures and reporting standards for long-term maintainability. Required Skills & Qualifications β€’ 5–10 years of professional experience in data analytics or business intelligence. β€’ Proficiency in SQL, Python, DAX, and PowerQuery. β€’ Strong experience with Power BI for visualization and dashboarding. β€’ Solid knowledge of ETL processes and data integration from multiple sources. β€’ Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). β€’ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to present complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Skills β€’ Experience with financial datasets. β€’ Exposure to low/no-code application development. β€’ Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
