Job Title: Data Architect/Lead Data Engineer - Databricks - dbt - Azure Location: Central London - 2 days per week in the office Salary/Rate: £500 per day inside IR35 Start Date: 13/07/2026 Job Type: Contract until the end of the year Company Introduction We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Enterprise Data Architect with strong Databricks, dbt and Azure experience to join their team for a contract until the end of the year. Job Responsibilities/Objectives Mandatory Skills: Databricks (PySpark / Spark SQL) , DBT , Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, CI/CD), SQL ,Azure Data Services (Data Lake, Data Factory) • Strong experience with Databricks (PySpark / Spark SQL) • Hands-on expertise in DBT • Expertise in Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, CI/CD) • Proficiency in SQL and Python • Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Lake, Data Factory) • Strong knowledge of Data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts • Knowledge of Data governance and security best practices • Design and Leading the team of Data Engineers • Manage stakeholder interactions independently.
