• Main Sail is seeking a Data Engineer to support a nuclear manufacturing client. This position will work with Power BI, Azure Document Intelligence and Azure Databricks to structure and present data in visual dashboards. Responsibilities:
Implement data pipelines to process data from various sources, including Excel, SAP, and PDF files.
Utilize Azure Document Intelligence and Azure Databricks to convert unstructured data into structured formats.
Transform and combine resulting data to ensure effective ingestion into Power BI.
Work with subject matter experts to develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI to facilitate data visualization and reporting.
Collaborate with team members to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights.
Provide technical documentation and clear communication of data processes and methodologies.
Experience Required:
4-5 years of relevant experience in data processing, data pipeline development, and dashboard implementation.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in Python and Spark for data processing.
Strong SQL skills for data querying and transformation.
Experience with Power BI for dashboard development.
Familiarity with Azure services, specifically Azure Document Intelligence, Azure functions, and Azure Databricks.
Excellent technical communication skills to convey complex data concepts clearly.
