Data Engineer – Clinical Analytics Type: Contract Location: Addison, TX Work Setting: Onsite We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong experience designing and building scalable data solutions from the ground up. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have developed and deployed ETL jobs, built Azure Data Factory pipelines, and structured data lakes and schemas. What You’ll Do • Design, build, and maintain data systems and pipelines in cloud and on-prem environments. • Write and deploy ETL processes for both structured and unstructured data. • Develop scalable data lake architectures and optimize schemas for analytics. • Collaborate with Data Scientists, BI Developers, and Analysts to enable predictive and prescriptive modeling. • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency, and reliability. • Document technical solutions and follow enterprise standards. • Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and cross-functional data initiatives. What We’re Looking For • 3–6 years of hands-on data engineering experience. • Proven success in building pipelines, tools, or systems. • Strong programming experience with SQL and Python. • Proficiency with Azure, including Data Factory, cloud storage, and data orchestration services. • Solid understanding of relational databases and data management best practices. • Familiarity with Git, Docker, and modern development practices a plus. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. • Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments with attention to detail and accountability.
