Role description
Job Title: Data Engineer and Reporting Developer Location: MA (Onsite) Duration: Contract Job Description: Required Education: β€’ Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience Required Skills: β€’ Strong understanding of Oracle and Snowflake database concepts, including data modeling, SQL, stored procedures and data types β€’ Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and role-based access control β€’ Proficiency with reporting tools like Power BI, Excel integrations, or ODBC/JDBC-based access β€’ Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets β€’ Experience in migrating reporting workloads from legacy platforms to cloud-based solutions β€’ Solid understanding of BI tools and their integration with Snowflake β€’ Strong problem-solving and documentation skills Desired Skills: β€’ Familiarity with AWS Redshift Cloud Data Warehouse is a plus. β€’ Knowledge of ETL tools (e.g., Informatica) is a plus β€’ Familiarity with Snowflake Data sharing, Snow pipe and Snowpark β€’ Background in financial or government enterprise data environments
