Data Engineer

Chroma is currently working with a prominent high street retailer who is looking for a Data Engineer to join their growing team in Manchester on a fixed term basis (6-9 months). Offering up to £80K with excellent benefits and hybrid working (3 days per week on site), this is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to get involved in the early stages of strategic data projects and deliver robust data solutions. You must have experience working with Snowflake for this role. The company is a well-known retailer with hundreds of shops across the UK, France and the USA. They have built a strong reputation over the years, and they are currently evolving from a traditional retailer into a customer-centric, digitally driven business. As a Data Engineer you will join a newly established team as the embark on new business improvement projects. You will build scalable and reliable data pipelines to power analytics, reporting, and strategic decision making. As a Data Engineer you will have the opportunity to utilise cutting edge data tools to design and implement robust data solutions. Required Skills/Experience: • At least 2 years' experience working with Snowflake • At least 2 years’ experience working with Azure, AWS, or GCP Data tools • MS SQL expertise (querying, transforming, and managing datasets) • Python competency • Proficient in version control tools (ideally Git) • Agile environment experience Desirable Skills/Experience: • Experience in the retail industry • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines If this Data Engineer opportunity is of interest, then please call 07948 486472 or email w.thomson@chromarecruitment.com.
