Data Engineer / Data Analyst (Snowflake – Immediate Project)
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer / Data Analyst with strong Snowflake expertise to consolidate and catalog financial records into a structured, report-ready warehouse. This immediate project role requires designing and automating ETL/ELT pipelines, standardizing diverse datasets, ensuring data quality, and delivering a final searchable dataset to support analytics and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
Data Pipeline Development
Design, build, and automate ETL/ELT pipelines to load data into Snowflake.
Ensure reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of data flows.
Data Modeling & Architecture
Develop and optimize data models and schemas aligned with business requirements.
Support analytics, reporting, and performance tuning.
Data Quality & Governance
Validate, reconcile, and monitor data accuracy and consistency.
Implement QA checks and governance best practices.
Reporting & Analytics Support
Build and maintain searchable datasets, reports, and dashboards.
Provide transparency to enable business intelligence and decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in data analytics engineering or related role.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data warehousing.
Proficiency in SQL for data transformation, modeling, and analysis.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Fivetran, Airflow, or Matillion.
Familiarity with large, complex, and varied datasets across multiple formats.
Ability to parse and standardize data from Excel, CSV, JSON, and PDF.
Knowledge of data warehousing best practices: staging, QA, reconciliation, and governance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy and integrity. Comfortable working under tight deadlines with structured project plans.
