Data Engineer Contract - 6 Months - 1 year Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and ensuring data integrity across our systems. This role will play a crucial part in supporting our data analytics initiatives and enhancing our data-driven decision-making capabilities. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. • Develop and maintain data models and schemas to support analytical needs. • Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and deliver relevant datasets. • Manage and optimize databases to ensure high performance and availability. • Utilize AWS Redshift for data warehousing solutions and data management. • Create dashboards and visualizations using Tableau to present insights to stakeholders. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools. • Proficiency in MySQL and experience working with AWS Redshift. • Familiarity with data modeling and schema design concepts. • Nice to have skills: experience with DBT and Python programming language.
