We are looking to hire a database automation engineers who is passionate about driving automation within our database technology organization in a public cloud environments.

Rate: $62 - $68 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
As a Database Automation Engineer in the Asset Management Database Engineering and Automation team, you will be the teamβs technical domain expert for driving engineering excellence, automating the deployments and database processes in a variety of database technology platforms in AWS which adhere to the enterprise AWS deployment standards.
This is a hands-on technical database automation engineering role that requires strong technical skills and knowledge of cloud database automation tools and patterns for deployment, provisioning, encryption, security, administration, and data protection.
Requirements:
β’ Hands-on experience and expertise as a database engineer and proficiency in Python and PL/SQL programming
β’ Experience with pipeline automation tools such as Jenkins Core, uDeploy, and GitHub Actions
β’ Expertise with Test Automation Tools and Frameworks e.g. Karate, Cypress, Mockito
β’ Demonstrated expertise in documenting and adhering to strong database engineering excellence practices
β’ Solid understanding of cloud engineering design principles & patterns
β’ Technical knowledge of CloudFormation, YML, GitHub, Artifactory, CloudWatch, and Datadog
β’ Hands on experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment
β’ Cloud Certifications in AWS
β’ Your passion for learning new cloud and database technologies
β’ Prior experience working in Agile software development environments
β’ Experience working in globally distributed teams
β’ Your strong dedication to high quality standards for your code
β’ Your excellent verbal and written communication skills
β’ Strong analytical skills enabling you to research independently, challenge, verify data, and ultimately provide recommendations and requirements for technical solutions
