Data Engineer

Job Title: Data Engineer I Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer I to join our team and work in one of the world’s largest and most complex data warehouse environments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational experience in BI tools and data engineering to gain exposure to enterprise-scale projects. Key Responsibilities: • Design and support analytic technologies that enable timely, flexible, and structured access to data. • Build and maintain platforms using third-party and in-house reporting tools. • Develop reports and dashboards using Oracle BI Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights. • Model metadata and build scalable, efficient data solutions. • Handle large datasets and ensure data accuracy and integrity. Required Qualifications: • 0–3 years of professional experience in data engineering or BI reporting. • Hands-on experience with OBIEE or similar BI tools. • Strong skills in SQL and working with large datasets. • Proficiency in Excel and interpreting structured data. • Analytical mindset with a passion for identifying patterns and anomalies. • Ability to communicate effectively with business users and translate requirements into solutions. Preferred Skills: • Proficiency in QuickSight, Power BI, or other visualization tools. • Demonstrated experience developing complex reports and dashboards. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Top 3 Must-Have Skills: • Natural curiosity and a desire to learn. • Hands-on experience with data sets and BI tools. • Knowledge of Power BI and QuickSight.
