Data Engineer

Data Engineer (Contract) – Sports Tech & Entertainment | NYC (Hybrid) 6 month contract (option for extention) New York, NY $55-75/hr (Negotiable, depends on experience) We’re seeking a Data Engineer to support our Customer Experience team at a leading sports tech and entertainment company. This role will focus on modernizing and optimizing existing data workflows as we transition from Redshift to Databricks. Minimum Qualifications: • 2+ years enterprise experience • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and SOQL • Hands-on experience with Redshift, Databricks, and DataGrip • Familiarity with Salesforce and Tableau • Experience building or modernizing analytics workflows in Databricks Responsibilities: • Modify and rebuild existing data pipelines and workflows from Redshift to Databricks. • Support pre-processing of Salesforce data into structures for Tableau dashboards & adhoc analytics initiatives • Analyze existing workflows to identify opportunities for consolidation and optimization • Enhance performance and scalability by leveraging Databricks best practices • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements • Identify and prioritize dependencies on data sources not yet migrated to Databricks What’s in it for you? • Medical, Dental & Vision Health Benefits • Paid Holidays & Paid Sick Days
