Who Are You Working With? You’ll be supporting a technology-focused investment organization with an internal data and engineering function. The team partners with stakeholders across multiple initiatives to improve data reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency, with an emphasis on enabling analytics and AI-driven applications. What Are You Doing? This is a hands-on contractor role focused on data infrastructure optimization, CRM data integration, and ensuring data quality for an AI-powered hybrid search system. This role is contracted for 2-3 months but holds the potential to become Contract-To-Hire upon completion of the initial contract period. Key responsibilities include: • Auditing existing Databricks SQL warehouse configurations and recommending right-sizing strategies • Optimize job scheduling and compute utilization to reduce unnecessary warehouse spin-ups • Review ETL pipeline execution frequency and cost drivers • Implement robust data preparation, cleansing, and sanity checks on DealCloud CRM data • Address schema evolution challenges and establish best practices • Validate and optimize CDC logic from bronze to silver layers • Ensure data integrity for hybrid search combining structured and unstructured data • Evaluate and optimize vector search index configurations Who Are You? You have strong hands-on experience with Databricks and modern cloud data platforms and are comfortable commuting to the Cherry Creek area of Denver. Prior experience in financial services, investment organizations, or enterprise CRM systems is helpful but not required. Familiarity with DealCloud or similar platforms is a plus.
