Role description
Data Engineer Remote-first / 6 month contract (rolling) £425 p.d Outside IR35 Currently in search of a Data Engineer to join growing digital agency working with FS client. You’ll be joining a specialist consultancy that partners with top-tier financial institutions, tackling high-impact projects in areas like reinsurance, asset management, and complex financial data transformation. The work is hands-on, technical, and at the sharp end of solving problems that spreadsheets can’t touch. What you’ll do • Engineer and analyse large datasets to deliver insights that shape client strategy. • Build scalable solutions with Python (Pandas/NumPy), SQL, and cloud tools like BigQuery on GCP. • Support senior business experts by turning raw financial data into decisions that matter. • Design and run data mapping projects that automate workflows and cut through complexity.
