Role description
Position Overview:
The Data Engineer performs routine functions in support of the Tech Operations data team. The Data Engineer runs standardized queries, extracts and parses files, loads data into platforms, and ensures the highest levels of quality.
Compensation: $55-$65/hour
12 month - 100% Remote Contract
• CAN'T provide sponsorship
• Must-Haves:
• Minimum 3-5 years in SQL and Python, each
• Proficient w/data integrations
• Versed in QA and InfoSec procedures
• Agile software development methodology (SCRUM, Kanban)
Nice-to-Haves:
• Jira
• Snowflake or Databricks
• Email / push / in app platforms Salesforce or Braze
• Subscription services background
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equiv exp.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Run standardized queries to extract data from data lakes and other tools.
- Parses files per platform ingestion limitations.
- Loads files into platforms (e.g. SFMC, Braze) via UI or other methods.
- Completes quality assurance and resolves any discrepancies.
- Document completion and audit trail in Jira.
