About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join a central integrity and support team tasked with improving the effectiveness and efficiency of customer support operations. This role is focused on designing and maintaining robust data pipelines, collecting and visualizing performance metrics, and enabling data-driven decisions for customer support and experience initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain reliable and scalable data pipelines and architectures that support customer service analytics.
• Develop and manage dashboards and data products that measure team and product success.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to define success metrics and ensure high-quality data logging.
• Conduct data analysis and visualization, providing actionable insights to improve support processes and agent performance.
• Handle ad hoc data requests, bug fixes, and contribute to ongoing projects such as knowledge base performance metrics.
• Work autonomously while engaging stakeholders at key project milestones for requirements and feedback.
Required Skills and Experience
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
• Strong background in data modeling and architecture.
• Deep experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar).
• Proficient in integration/workflow tools such as Azure Data Factory and Airflow.
• Experience building business intelligence solutions and success metrics in fast-moving or high-tech environments.
Preferred Background
• Previous experience in large tech, SaaS, e-commerce, or social media companies.
• Exposure to customer support or AI-driven service environments.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics tools.
