About the Role
We are seeking a Data Scientist / Data Engineer to join the EPIC team, which focuses on generative AI initiatives, enterprise-scale analytics, and data strategy. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful AI-driven projects, build scalable data pipelines, and deliver analytics solutions for enterprise adoption.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, analytics teams, and senior leadership to create data-driven solutions that are consistent, secure, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
β’ Process large-scale datasets and event logs using Hive, Cloudera, Dataiku, and AWS services (SNS, SQS, Lambda).
β’ Perform EDA, KPI development, feature engineering, and exception-based reporting.
β’ Support and optimize ML, DL, and NLP models, including Hugging Face and LLM-based solutions.
β’ Create interactive dashboards and reports in Spotfire.
β’ Partner with cross-functional teams to drive AI strategies and enterprise adoption.
Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or analytics.
β’ Proficiency in Python and SQL (R programming a plus).
β’ Strong background in ETL, data pipelines, and big data platforms (Hive, Cloudera).
β’ Experience with Dataiku, AWS services, and generative AI initiatives.
β’ Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and LLMs.
β’ Skilled in Spotfire dashboard development and interactive visualizations.
β’ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; self-starter mindset.
