Role description
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities • Design and maintain scalable, automated data pipelines for various data types. • Transform, clean, and enrich data for machine learning and AI model training. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data requirements with business goals. • Enhance data quality, observability, and lineage tracking for sustainability data assets. • Optimize performance and scalability using AWS technologies such as S3, Glue, and Lambda. • Support machine learning workflows through reproducible data ingestion and feature engineering. Skills • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Machine Learning Data Engineer. • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation. • Experience with data pipeline frameworks like Apache Airflow, Spark, or AWS Glue. • High-level understanding of common machine learning and AI techniques. • Knowledge of data quality, observability, and governance frameworks. • Familiarity with AWS services or other cloud service providers for data processing and analytics. Preferred Skills • Experience preparing datasets for machine learning or AI models. • Familiarity with geospatial, environmental, or sustainability datasets. • Demonstrated passion for AI, sustainability, or environmental impact work.
